Novice Job Class[edit]

All characters in Ragnarok Online start off as a Novice. After obtaining level 9 of the Basic Skills skill, players may change their profession to a first job class. The one exception to this rule is the Supernovice class, which additionally requires that the character be at least base level 45.

First Job Classes[edit]

First job class characters have specialized skills that are specific to the job they choose. Currently, there are eight first job classes available in iRO. The Gunslinger and Ninja job classes have been implemented into iRO Sakray as of January 2, 2007 at 9:00 PM PST during the weekly scheduled maintenance. Ragnarok: Path of Heroes is an extremely high quality MMORPG that takes a rather old school approach to the gameplay. While most MMORPGs of this kind try to innovate and add new features into the mix, this particular game takes a few steps back and instead focuses on providing its players with a classical experience that’s highly reminiscent to that of retro MMORPGs.
Ragnarok: Path of Heroes is no doubt a very immersive game but one gripe we have with it is the fact that it isn’t new player friendly at all. When you get into the game for the first time you’ll be given next to no sense of direction and because of this you’ll have to figure out most of the game’s basics on your own by experimenting with the controls and what not. Fortunately, since this is a classic style game, there aren’t any complex gameplay mechanics to figure out so you shouldn’t have any major difficulty getting the hang of the basics.
In terms of gameplay, Ragnarok: Path of Heroes is without a doubt one of the most addictive mobile based MMORPGs to come out in recent times. The game features four different classes and each class features a very distinct play-style and of course its own unique set of skills that players can level up as they progress through the game. The best thing about the character classes in this game is that they’re all very well balanced and no class feels unnecessarily stronger than others.
The combat of Ragnarok: Path of Heroes is pretty straightforward. Each character has its own basic attack that you can keep chaining together to dish out damage but alongside this basic attack there are special skills as well that you can weave in-between the usual attacks to deal extra damage. It’s important to learn how to seamlessly integrate special abilities into your usual damage combos because this will help you deal an insane amount of damage to your opponents in an extremely short amount of time.
The game world of Ragnarok: Path of Heroes is extremely massive due to which you can actually spend hours upon hours simply exploring all of the amazing places that it consists of. However, although exploration can definitely be extremely enjoyable, we don’t really recommend doing it if you’re low level because most places in the game are teeming with mobs that will absolutely wreck you if you fight them at a low level.
Onto the visuals, the distinct art style of Ragnarok: Path of Heroes is a delight to look at and brings out some pretty nostalgic feelings as well. The colors are bright and vibrant, the game world is very well designed, the character designs look spot-on and the special effects are just straight up amazing.
As for micro-transactions, you’ll be able to use real world money to get your hands no various kinds of in-game content such as equipment for your character and special potions that can boost its stats during a fight.
